Electric Gate Motor Install - Croydon

Vicky was getting sick of having to get out of her car to open her gate, drive through, get out again and shut it. Not any more!

Now Vicky can simply press a button on her key fob and the gate will open and automatically close. See how we installed her electric gate motor...

Before we installed the electric gate

Before we started, this was what the gate looked like of the control box and gate motor were installed, it's a heavy timber gate so this automation will be fantastic for Vicky.

Gate motor installed

We were lucky there was a solid steel beam on the gate, it allowed us to put two solid bolts onto the frame to attach the motor. We then brought the cables down the pole to the motor control box. lucky we we're close to the switchboard to run cables to install a power point for the control box power!

Gate open & close

Both us and Vicky were so happy with the turn out, we also installed an automatic gate latch, this only releases when the button is pressed on the remote key fob.

This set us has brought both security to Vicky's home and a nice automation to save her getting in and out of her car to open!!

Job complete - New electric gate motor installed!

Vicky's gate will now open and close automatically.
