Home office electrical setup

Leane, one of our existing clients has recently converted her backyard shed into a home office so she can work from home.

We have mapped out and made a plan for her ideal home office’s electrical setup. We ran data points for faster internet connection and installed several power points throughout her home office so that she can have her complete office set up in there, even with the comfort of a fridge and TV.

The external was kept very simple with one up/down light fitting, which gives a nice ambiance lighting. Internally the lights were kept to two LED downlights, which will be set to a daylight colour tone to help with productivity and an "office feel".

Future proofing

When roughing the cables in we also ran additional data points and a TV cable in case they decide they want to have any additions down the line.

For the lighting, we used some Gimble downlights that contains Tri color tone, nipple bracket and CCT. This will enable us to twist and pivot the light fitting to point the angle of the light at night since there's a slight 30 degrees recessed on the roof. This will give a fantastic evening light spread throughout.
