Heated Towel Rail Install - Summer Hill

We had to get this heated towel rail on the wall and get the cables to it without making any damage to the already tiled bathroom. Luckily there was an access panel over head head so we were able to fish the cables down the gyproc wall.

After measuring up the area, and making sure we had enough clearance from the door handle, we marked it up. We were left with very little wiggle room from the mounting holes and cables, the area only being approx 40mm.

Holes cored out, rail mounted, we were ready to cut out the control switch. The owner supplied a NHP seven day timer switch, very handy - set and forget!

Once we had marked out the area where the switch was going we carefully cut out the square to recess the switch in to tiles. A new feed was pulled down to the switch to cope with the additional load.

We were very happy with how it turned out!
