Pendant light install and partial light rewire

What was meant to be just installing a few pendant lights and replacing power points quickly turned into a partial rewire.

When disconnecting the items and pulling down the cables, it revealed dangerous cotton cabling at this Glebe job in Sydney's inner west.

Removing the pendant lights, we were greeted with substandard cotton cabling, after notifying the client, we proceeded with a rewire.

It wasn't too bad to rewire as there was full roof access and conduits, we could run new cables down to the light switches, pullcords, and dimmers.

The pendant lights were a very well-suited light to the age of the building, all rewired and powered up.
